Skittle Night

Teams of 12 needed for a skittles night on Friday 23rd October at The Brown Jug, Bath Road, Cheltenham. Entry is £5 per person and I am hoping to get 5 teams together so let me know if you are interested. Aldready have a lot of interest so places are already limited!
Take care for now,
Anna

Theory test passed

Passed my bike theory test today, so can get on with the direct access now. Haven't ridden for more than a week now so hope I won't be too rusty.
Have had a couple of days out on a 125 with Steve from Acer Training in Gloucester and next time hope to go out on the 500. Then hopefully I can get the test done fairly soon after that.
Don't forget that if you want to sponsor me for Enduro India click the donate button and it will link to my paypal account.
Thanks for your support,

Anna

Busy busy busy

Hi,
A quick update on what's been happening.
Held a doughnut sale on Friday 11th 'Doughnate a £1 to charity', copying an idea from a fellow Enduro rider. My thought was just to visit Ecclesiastical in Gloucester as they have a large office of 600 staff, but unfortunately I think most of them were away that day as I hardly sold any! Despite them very kindly posting intranet message about it, noone seemed to like doughnuts very much, so I began to panick slightly when, at 2 o'clock, I still had about 250 doughnuts to sell!
Warner's Budgens very kindly let me buy the doughnuts at cost price, but my trip to Ecclesiastical didn't even cover that.
So off I went to Cheltenham to try something else. I visited the Echo, Dair and Archant. Thanks to friends who helped me out there, I couldn't have done it without you.
Then, as most offices were closing, I had to pluck up the courage to visit a few pubs. James at The Bath Tavern gave me a bit of Dutch courage with a large glass of wine and after selling a few there I went on to The Jolly Brewmaster and The Beehive. Thanks very much to the landlords who let me in, they must've thought my request was a little random but it worked very well. Some people even asked me to come back every Friday!
So all in all it wasn't a bad day in the end. £200 made after the cost of the doughnuts was accounted for. I could've made more if I'd got cheaper doughnuts somewhere else, but I wanted them to be tasty.
Hard day but good fun I think. May even get in the paper, although I am not sure what the photo will be like!
