Photography for events

Summer is a great time to hold an event, either a celebration for work, an awards ceremony or an annual staff party. I thought I would post a few of the events I've covered in the past so that you can see how much they vary and how they can be covered. Some are indoors and quite formal, others are summer garden parties with drinks and entertainment. But whatever event you're holding, it's a good idea to hire a photographer so that you get a full set of photos from the occasion. You can then use these in newsletters, blogs or send them out to the papers or magazines in the area. The Magdelena Consort during a rehearsal at Tewkesbury Abbey
Awards and Performances at Gloucester Cathedral for schools who are part of the G15 partnership.
Cheltenham Music Festival. I covered a couple of events this year, one of which was at Pittville Pumps Rooms and another at Cheltenham College Chapel.
I do some work for a great charity, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and have covered a few of their events. One was a performance of the Wind in the Willows at Greystones Nature Reserve and another was a drinks evening held at Cotswold Farm.
I was asked to do some photography at the Women Make a Difference conference held at Hatherley Manor Hotel.
